Well, I’m making this trickster online guide since I had some trouble at first to get some money
and now I seem to found at least an easy-to-repeat way to make money.
This will be a guide for a Farm Fox, if you want a Battle/Farm Fox read the differences at the end of this guide.
At first you’ll need to make a new character, choose the cute fox and set her stats to 1 Power (you won’t need this), 1 Magic (MP are good but you need potions this or that way), 4 Sense (you can’t change this one anyways) and 4 Charm (this will give you good HP, Defense and Evasion).
Now we’re ready to get started, choose a name and do the tutorial, DO NOT SKIP IT, you will get to Lv 4 and until you get your TM Level to 15 you need every help to level up. If you play it for the first time you should do it anyways.
Your Stat Points are easy to use: put ALL into DA. That’s why these types are called Pure DA cause they boost no other stats.
After you’re done with the tutorial, you should be in Desert Beach Town and have the Lv 1 equipment thats only for people that did the tutorial (you get it as quest rewards for the tutorial quests).
Equip it if you didn’t do that until now and got out to the southwest of the town, there are Lv 1, 4 and 7 monsters. Since you’re Lv 4 (at least you should be that) you can kill the scorpions that are Lv 4. Now you can start making money
, since you’re a Fox you can carry much so pickup EVERYTHING you find on the ground. If your weight reaches 85% or more you should head back to town to sell your loot. The shop is in the northwest corner of the town.
If you reach TM Lv 10 you can get your first skills, for that go to Desert Beach Town or to the Skill Garden in Megalopolis. If you’re in Desert Beach Town go south and go to the small island thats in the middle south. Talk to the guy with brown hair, he’s your types skill master. Buy the Skill cards Invincible Drilling (you’ll need that later), Sixth Sense (a VERY important skill), Heavy Carrier (if you wanna carry much this is a must have) and Shuriken Master (this will be you’re main attack skill) for later. If you don’t have enough money yet get Heavy Carrier first and then the others.
To learn a skill press C to open your Cards window and click on Skill to show your skill cards. If you can learn a skill the card will not be shaded and you can double click it to learn it. Learn Heavy Carrier first, then the others you should have some points left so press S to open your skill window. From there you can drag your skills to the quickslotbar. Click on Archelogist, there you can level up your skills if you have enough skill points, bring Heavy Carrier to at least Lv 6.
Now fight on and make money with selling items till you reach TM Lv 15 to learn Shuriken Master. If you need to get your TM Lv up fast drill much and do the Love Hunter quests, Yuri will give you normal Exp, Love Hunter gives TM Exp. Your DA gives you a chance to see if there where you’re drilling is an item or not, if you’ll get a Light over your head and if not you’ll get some messed up lines. Once your DA reaches 90 you’ll have a 100% chance to see if or not. If you got it to Lv 10 got to your skill master to Master the skill. You will need 29 Orange Scarabs to master it and 2 skill points. The scarabs are dropped from Oran G in the Pyramid Dungeon - Hall of Slave and some others.
For more infos on Quest, Items and more you can go to the Wiki on mytrickster.net. Since my part is done, everything else is up to you, just fight around, learn how the game works and collect as many items as you can until you can find items more worth. A recommend from me, look at the worth per weight of the items if you know that you’ll sell them to NPC’s. But not all “worthless” items are really worthless because quest items and job change items are worth much. Like Letter of Fortune (collect these, you’ll need them later to become an Explorer). And I nearly forgot, to use Shuriken Master you need some ammo of course which can be bought in all shops under Etc, just buy around 500 Needles (if you can already carry that much without getting your weight over 75%).
At TM Lv 35 you can learn Basic Detection which is also a must have for Foxes, if you backed up some skill points bring it straight to Lv 6. NOW the REAL drilling fun begins ;3
A final note, Event Quest Items are selling best if you drill em up in the first hours after the servers are running again, just try to find out as fast as you can what you need and where to get it, then get some, go to Megalopolis and open a shop and set the price for the first 5 to 100k, if the are sold fast raise it for 50k until it takes forever to get them sold, then got 25k back or just look at the prices of others.
And try to not get tricked by the people that buy equipments and pets from the shops and selling them for much in Megalopolis, if you don’t wanna get tricked take a look in the wiki, there you can find out if an item that is being sold is rare or a shop one.
